  1. Meherzaidi Pakistan Internet Explorer Windows says:

I have seen all these things and buildings during my childhood. The tram cars ran in Elphinstone Street, now named Zebunissa Street. The bears were a peaceful part of our entertainment. Violence was almost unknown. All ethnic, religious and immigrant groups lived peacefully with old residents and locals. Unlike today there was love, friendship, helpfulness and generally a very peaceful and business helping atmosphere. That is why the immigrants fron India managed to boost up the economy and bring about the growth of Karachi in such a deeply emancipating way. And sadly now the whole progress is bieng regressed and Karachi bieng divided and made violent . This Anti-Karachi sentiment is fanned by fuedals from interior Sindh and people who have come from KPK as a result of their socio-cultural differences although they are living and earning from this city. The general atmosphere is that of intolerance, hatred, petty frustations and overall thanklessness. So sad that the very essence of Cosmopolitanism is bieng eroded for sheer materialism.
