Epidemic: Laziness & Impatience

Garfield Lazy

There is a strange paradox in Pakistan. How do we manage to keep an equilibrium in productivity while being so lazy? We need to pick up the slack. People in the West are often amazed at how hard working average people from our parts are. That theory always brings a sheepish smile to my face. Little do they know of the real sons of Pakistan and our reluctance to hard work. Epitome of our generation may just be profound laziness.Click here to read remaining article.

  1. Here is something subliminally unrelated to the above. I was very eager to learn (surprise for New Jersey) what was the definition of Depression (Deep, Gross variety). The best I found ought is: ” If there is AABE HAYAT or water of perpetual life n happiness on the room shelf, the deeply-Depressed person just won’t get off on his or her (or herr!) mfhusain (=feet ) and pick it up to drink it. That is very LaZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZy in deeds and doldrunms!

And these Harwords of wisdom (against doom), here is the cagh n cry commercial unrelated to The PTH, to wit that TFT must sua sponte honour its promise in entirety and not worry whether i studied at or attended Harvard. We will cross that bridge when the bridge comes to Syyed Mohummed Jawaid Iqbal Jafree of Slarpore, inshaw-LAW.

    Rest A.

  2. I am reminded of the Peter Principle:

WORK EXPANDS TO MEET THE TIME AVAILABLE TO DO IT.

It all started from the good old days of the Emperor Shah Jehan, when affluency became a norm, harvests were good and Indian peasants were happily working hard for the prosperity of the countries, no slavery and no bonded labour, and the Treasury was overfilled from the inland revenue. The visionary Shah Jehan ordered the improvement of the infra-structure thereby the construction of a GT road from Peshawar to Delhi with rest places enroute and security for the travellers as well as the construction of hostels throughout the country for workers who of no fault of their own were unemployed. He also ordered the construction of Parks and orchards to allow the workers families including those who were unemployed for use during day time. India was therefore the country providing social benefits to workers long before the British and the French introduced theirs. This was also the beginning of a aprocess for encorouging people away from hardwork and to the extreme of laziness.

  4. Harwords = Hardwords

(that is now there is no work-of-art per se left anymore in the Massage above). Or as they would say in the ghettos of New Jersey: gotcha!

Might I remind Sir Geoffrey that the “Bully Pulpit” fits his agenda quite well in this instance since he chooses to deflect his own forgotten promises! Might I also remind him that the Heart is a Lonely Hunter and in that matter he should have stayed away from the window at the OTB! Long plane flights are best when shared with a loved one.

    As always, Lady Guinevere
