Muslims have celebrated eid more than 1400 times and wished each other (=only to the muslims ofcourse) all the best.
BUT: No peace, no knowledge, no progress, no honesty – nothing good has as yet come out of it.
Think over this before going on with your deadbeat old-time-fixated rituals. Good will alone is not sufficient. What about honesty, self-criticism, abjuring violence?
—
Is there any muslim who can convince ALL muslims that jihad must reject and exclude violence 100% (not just 99 or 99.9999%) and that muslims must never carry out any demographic or territorial aggression against non-muslims?
—-
We non-muslims have nothing good to gain or expect from your eids and your self-congratulatory emotions.

Or more than 4×1400 times.
Koran:
[2.216] Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know.
—
[4.56] (As for) those who disbelieve in Our communications, We shall make them enter fire; so oft as their skins are thoroughly burned, We will change them for other skins, that they may taste the chastisement; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.
[4.74] therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world’s life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward.
[4.76] those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.
—
[8:12] I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
—
[9.5] So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush,…
[9.123] O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness

Eid Mubarak!
IDD MUBARAK on behalf of Indian visitors to this unique site.May this site be rid of trolls “quislings” and ” Arab God” types.May your Allah grant you wisdom and leadership to steer your country to stability, prosperity and good nieghbourly relations and rid you of the chimera of “strategic depth”.
I’m not sure how anyone can believe in this stuff in this day and age, but enjoy the Eid festivities – festivities are always fun and celebrate our humanity even though the beliefs behind them may be ludicrous!
to original
It requires maturity to recognize the dangers in religions. Religions have always misused human beings as their victims, killers, zombies, quislings etc. This is especially true of islam. Muslims are proving this the world over. Appeasing or flattering muslims is no right way forward. The flatterer is never the genuine friend.
If you cannot bring yourself to greet somebody on their special day, at least have the courtesy to keep quiet.
Eid mubarak everybody
Yes brother Girish. Irrespective of who the person is one should greet a pious and peace loving man. So let me say, ” Eid Mubarak” to all
