Continuation of a joint heritage

Ilmana Fasih recounts some examples of the ‘Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb’ and centuries’ old, peaceful coexistence beyond religious divides

An otherwise sane looking person I met at a party recently started to spew venom laced with conspiracy theories about “Hindu Muslim animosity”. To top it all, he tried to use my own life to justify his views, insisting that my going

to live in Pakistan after marrying a Pakistani was proof of the natural divide. He refused to accept my views that a peaceful coexistence between people of different faiths is possible or that my going to Pakistan from India was not based on religious reasons.Click here to read complete article.

KaaamRed Kamath, Look around your Red GMasti is dead in 70 years. Even Arabi Green GMasti also died 70 years after MohMad’s death. But converted Gs are so brutalized that they are still holding dearly MohMad’s dead missile in their rear so long and shouting Aaah Huu sexy orgasmic fake noises. Too long we natives have tolerated this nuisance. Bahut scratch Kiya ek dusareke ball sacks. There is nothing there; your balls have been long back taken away by your alien booked GMasti.

Too long you AbraHaramics have been brutalizing the world. I d not know if this lady is married and was native Dharmic before. recent converts are generally more fanatic esp the AbraHaramic GMasti type. Hare Krishna will walk on snow in Russia himself but will not write maudlin meaningless poetry about bodily juices on jeeb and sell that as some divine love.

India was destroyed by this Darbari meaningless buk buk of mohabbat which meant nothing. Bollywoody songs which used to hum in 70s, I quickly learned later are devilish. They kept us at best at addictive so called romantic love. It’s not even love…forget about true love. AbraHaramics do not eve have word for that. That is what they did to natives, they made the natives lose their languages, connection to their organically appearing words. Can this ex Dharmic lady distinguish between Kam, Prem, Sneh, Bhakti? Bollywoody bakwas just fed her some weird romantic persianized arabic hookah ladden maudlin mohabbat ishka waigera waigera. It just meant you just make me feel that I just had fatty oily Nehari brought by your Khansama or bawarchi and I feel like now some alien Mumu Mahal…nothing more.

How such fools can understand divine love ie Bhakti, Prem or even Sneh?

How come you translate reality on the ground as hate ? With the exception of few dozen big loud Pseudo secularists , hardly any any Indian will bother to mention Pakistan if they go their own way to ancestral Arabia. They are non indic people, following non Indic ways and have nothing to do with India. Same for us, we are not like them and they are not one of us. There is nothing we need from them and nothing we will grant them. Why make attempts to undermine this separation? What interests of Indics, Indian civilization are served by having relation with them ? Nada. If millions think like you , plesae note more than Billion Indians plus few Billions more from Kuffar world think otherwise. This 21st century dont have place for 6th century formulas of Khum, Fai, Hudna, right hand possesion and sexual exploitation of slaves. Friendship and normallancy depend on commonality and minimum standard in thought and meeting points. There is nothing worthwhile similar between us Indic and them ME people. Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb fails every measure of commonality, hence irrelevant. We have more in common with Afghans who are sons of soil.
Let me ask a basic question, Have not India and Indics reocovered a lot on social, economic and civilizational scale after 47? AFAIK, we are well on the way to recover the loss of 1000 years in this one 100 year. If you are an Indian, wont you like this recovery to happen faster insteaed of dragging it down by getting it entangled with medieval forces and slowing down the recouping process and eventually falling back into the same hellish pit which our ancestors experienced and paid with blood to climb up. There is no reason for us to make the same mistake again.
    Best Wishes.

Pyar -Mohabbat is an individual act and a good one. No need to elevate this personal individual act by applying to the national interests. The values, practices in political, social, religious mileu of Pakistan are unfit and poisonous to human society at large in this era. She is presenting the Halahal cup with sweet talk of GJ Tehjeeb( whatever that is) IMHO, any one talking about the commonality between Indians and Pakistanis is a being treacherous and not a well wisher of India , Indics and their Civilizational values. Ilamana confuses islamic interests with Indian interests which is not the case.MAJ knew better and was a great Indian son of soil. He drank Halahal voluntarily.

Yes, please ignore the communal riots, partition massacres, 4 wars, hindu brutality in Kashmir, and constant state terror. That is all tehzeeb. I do admire the push for peace, however unlikely.

The saddest part is where people try to draw conclusions where there are none. Things are a little more complicated than the pseudo-intellectuals/leftists/”liberals” make them out to be. Fact: Muslims (mainly those of “Mughal” extract) share a common heritage. Some of them happen to fall into what is now currently India, and some in Pakistan. To make this into a india-Pak issue is a disservice to the numerous Pakis and indians who DO NOT share this “joint heritage”, and frankly could care less. You think a Sindhi Kashmir Punjabi Baloch or a Gujarati Marathi, Tamil person gives a frack about the nanga-jamun ‘tehzeeb’? Histories are gonna be intertwined for a lot of nation-states, and your marriage has absolutely nothing to do with it. Does my indian girlfriend give a shat about by “heritage”? No, neither do i care about her long-winded “civilizational stream”. If i did, that’d mean i’m dating the obvious enemy. We’re just individuals. Keep it that way.

In all this, have the guts to say that marrying/dating a Muslim regardless of his country of origin is more important to most indian Muslims than showing hindutva-inspired patriotism and marrying/dating a kafir.

No! None whatsoever. Being a Pakistani(born and raised there) I got say that Indians(Hindu or Muslim or Christian or Jain or Buddhist and what not because there is every kind in that crazy country called India)are as much a victim of this gangajamani tehzeeb as much as Pakistani are. Well, Hassan, UPite Muslims are a lovely people – a part of our very own Indian tapestry. They have also made significant contributions to the continuing Indian civilization. But a point that Ilmana might miss because she left India at a young age is that the story of UPite Muslims, like the story of most of the rest of us in India, constitutes only a very small part of the much greater ongoing Indian saga. It could be that the unusual and even unnatural influence our UPite Muslim brothers and sisters exercised in Pakistan immediately after 1947 sometimes comes in the way of their being able to make realistic assessments.

ARABIC LANGUAGE; THE WEAPON OF MUSLIM APOLOGISTS, TO ENSLAVE NON-ARABS

    Mirza Ghalib

ARABIC; THE LANGUAGE OF HEAVEN, AND CAN NOT BE TRANSLATED

This article is written not to hurt the feelings of Arabic speaking people, but to reveal the truth about the boundless religious dogmas. Every language has its elegance. No language of this world is inferior and it has nothing to do with religion. Whereas Muhammad stolen the language of Arabic as his own, and his successors using it as a weapon to enslave the minds of millions. Muhammad and his successive invaders created a myth about Arabic, as the language of God, the language of the grave and the language of the Heaven. They have succeeded in their mission by enslaving the minds of Billions of non-Arab Muslim and still in the recent years, they are trying to extend it towards the Western infidels. The Muslim apologist of today trying to fool the westerners by their usual twisted interpretation of Arabic scriptures in the entire media. India is among one of those victimized countries of Arabic language. We Indian Muslims become the slaves of Arabic language for the past 1000 years by just reciting it instead of studying it. What happen to our intelligence?  As one of the affected victims, I don’t want it to be repeated on other innocent western infidels.

NON-ARAB MUSLIMS; THE STRENGTH OF ISLAM

The strength of Islam from its beginning was totally depended on sword, arrogance, terror, deception and Subjugation. As far today, the strength of Islam is its non-Arab Muslims. Today, most of the Muslim agitators in the western world, holding their little banners, shouting against the free western governments, are from the 70% of the victimized non-Arabi Muslims.

As an ex-Muslim from non-Arab country India, I know very well about the divine status of Arabic language among the Muslims of my country. For them Arabic is not just another man made language, instead it is a divine language, a language of Heaven. They were made to believe that, they will be speaking Arabic after death and  will be interrogated in their graves in Arabic by the arrogant Angels from the “merciful” Allah. Also they believe that, the conversation in heaven will be in Arabic. In my country if a Muslim happened to see a un- attended, worn-out piece of paper on a floor with Arabic text, he should immediately collect and kiss it and should keep it safely in his sacred book shelf or should drown it in to water well. The idea is to prevent it from the reach of the dirty non-Muslims, so that it does not lose its sacredness.

    NON-ARAB MUSLIMS LIVE WITH ARABIC

We were taught from our childhood to use the Heavenly Arabic terms and strictly monitored by our elders to adopt it in our day to day activities. So, Arabic language becomes part of our life, though we could not understand even1% of its meaning. We get up with Arabic, live by Arabic and go to bed with Arabic. It controls every moment and occasions of our life. We get up from our bed with “Kalima-E-Taiyab” which testifies “Allah is our Lord and Muhammad is His Messenger”. We say “Alhamdu Lillah” while we sneez, “Astaqfir Allah” while we yarn, “Bismillah” while we start eating, “Shukar Allah” while we finish eating, “Allahu Akbar”, “Salaam alaikum”, “Subhaanallah”, “Maasha Allah”, Insha Allah”,  “Rahmakallah” and “Jazakallah” at every now and then, while meeting our own family members, and finally while going to bed again we say “Kalima-E_taiyab”. How nice it is?

This is not the end. Apart from all the above Arabic terms, we have several Arabic terms for special occasions. We were taught to say “Inna lillaahi wa  inna ilaihi Raajioon” if we hear the death of any Muslim, which means the diseased will be in Heaven. Once, while I was a child, a non-Muslim neighbor of us, who was very friendly with us, was dead. On hearing that, I uttered the same Arabic term, which I used to say on the death of Muslims. On that, my mother got angry on me and she taught me a new term “Fi Naari Jahannama Qhali Deen” which means the non-Muslim soul will go to Hell. I argued with my mom and defended the diseased non-Muslim, that he was a nice and kind to us. My mother said, “Even then, he will go to Hell, for his crime of not accepting Islam”. My mother is illiterate, innocent and kind to all. But in religion, she was a typical gullible Muslim. This is how Islam and Arabic spread venom in the hearts of innocent human beings.

“DIVINE” BELLY DANCE ARABIC POP SONGS

The Muslims boasting, all scientific inventions are recorded 14 centuries earlier by their all knowing Allah in the Quran. Yet, they could not able to adopt those inventions in their life. They adopt it only after its invention by the dirty descendents of apes and swine; the Jews and Christians. Cell phone is one of such latest inventions of the dirty infidels, and proudly being used by Muslims after 14 centuries. Here too the Muslims of my non-Arabic nation never forget to show their loyalty to the language of Heaven. They use the audio of the Arabic language as their “Ring Tone” in the form of Adaan (call of prayer), Quranic recitations and some Arabic lectures. With this typical qualities, any-one can evaluate the extent of their love, loyalty and affection towards Arabic; “THELANGUAGE OF HEAVEN”.  So much so, they “degraded” (according to Islamic standards) themselves to such an extent to use Arabic pop songs of belly dancers as “sacred” Ring Tones of their cell phones, due to their ignorance of the Arabic language. According to their knowledge, whatever they hear in Arabic must be of divine origin. Being spent my 10 years in Saudi Arabia, I am well verse with the Arabic pop songs of the neighboring Arabic nations.

Similar to the Arabic Belly dance “SACRED” songs, the non-Arab Muslims unknowingly accepted the Quranic text as sacred, without seeking to know the actual meaning of the text. They are using the terror, pornographically motivated and immoral Quranic verses at least 40 times a day in their 5 prayers, similar to the “SACRED” Arabic belly dance pop songs.

    STUPID NON-ARAB MUSLIMS

While I was working in Saudi Arabia, the Arabs used to call the infidels and also us the non-Arab Muslims as “MUQH MAAFI” which means stupid and fools. At first, as a perfect Muslim, I was thinking “It is perfectly alright to call the infidels as MUQH MAAFI, for their crime, of not embracing Islam. Whereas, how come the Arabs call us too; the non-Arabic Muslims as MUQH MAAFI ?.”

Later, after getting enlightened, I realized the reason why the Arabs are calling us with the title of “MUKH MAAFI”. They do so, in frustration. Though the Arabs understood the absurdities of the Quranic teachings, they cannot go against it, as they are ruled by the arrogant rulers, with the mighty weapon of shariya law to silence them. Whereas, the situation is not similar in the free non-Arab countries, with  most of the Muslims are educated. They are free to STUDY and ANALIZE the Quranic teachings and come out of this politically motivated cult. But they don’t want to do so, for some inexplicable reasons. So, the Arabs are correct, by calling the non-Arab Muslims as “MUQH MAAFI”.

CONCLUSION:-  To rescue the entire world from the deceptive, twisted interpretations of Arabic scriptures by the muslim apologists, it is an urgent necessary to lift the veil from the entire Islamic scriptures, by translating and extracting it shortly from Arabic to various other languages. The translated scriptures what we have with us, is too wide, which the younger generation hesitate to read. In order to reach quickly to each and every infidel, it should be made shorter and should be made easily available in our FFI, in all major languages. Moreover, there are so many Arabic Ahadith collections and History of Islam, that are not translated yet, which hopefully the dirtiest one of Muhammad’s saga, need to be translated.

I request to our Arab apostates and atheists to help the entire world by translating these Islamic Arabic scriptures, in to any other language known to them. I humbly request to Mr.Ali Sina and all other humanists to guide us and set a target to achieve this goal. The entire media is dominated by the false, twisted Arabic propaganda by the apologists of Islam, backed by the mighty Wahaabi Saudi Rulers. To overcome such monstrous propaganda, we need to unite and get well communicated. We may need funds to overcome this task. So, please don’t hesitate to collect funds for this noble cause.

As regards hindu brutalities in Kashmir – don’t forget the extermination of hindus in Kashmir (and also West Panjab, Sindh etc.) over the past 600 (or 1200) years by islam and its agents and quislings. Muslims learn history in such a way that muslims are always presented as the innocent noble victims. Fact is: islam is the arab-turkish aggressor that has commited imperialism and eradications, not only in the Indian Subcontinent but also in Anatolia, North Africa etc. Hindus are merely fighting back and they are the defenders. The brutalities done by muslims came first.

Those who talk of any commonalities between India and pakistan must confront the textbooks used in Pakistan which teach pakistani children a falsified narrative of history and molest them intellectually, culturally and spiritually.

The arabc script and the giving of arabic names to non-arab children has played a major destructive factor in the indian subcontinent. The origin of Pakistan and its hate against everything hindu is in this enforcement arabic script and arabic personal names outside of Arabia.

    Restitching the Subcontinent
How do you solve a problem like Pakistan?
    Austin Bay
    November 28, 2011, Vol. 17, No. 11

The post-World War Two partition of British India was a blood-drenched mess. Since partition, India has prospered. Bangladesh, the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war’s ******** child, remains wretched. For three decades a low-grade civil war has afflicted Pakistan, pitting urban-based modernizers against Islamist extremists reinforced by militant hill tribes. The Taliban attack on Pakistan’s Karachi naval base in May 2011 reprised the hill versus urban paradigm. Pakistan’s civil war divides its intelligence and security services, which is one reason the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff can argue (with confidence) that an element within Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency supported the September 2011 Taliban assault on America’s embassy in Kabul.

In retrospect, splitting British India into East and West Pakistan and India may have been one of the 20th century’s greatest geostrategic errors.

I got a hint of this in the 1970s when I was injured at Ft. Benning, Georgia, and befriended by two Pakistani officers attending an advanced military course. My leg-length cast made walking to the mess hall a pain, so the Pakistani major and lieutenant-colonel took turns chauffeuring me in their car.

One evening, in slow traffic, the major and I passed an Indian Army colonel standing on the sidewalk. The major cracked his window, yelled, and waved. The Indian colonel smiled, raised his left hand, and wiggled his fingers. The major glanced at me and with a soft chuckle said, “That man—he is my enemy.”

Despite their recent war, I knew better. On at least two occasions the Indian colonel had dropped by our bachelor officers’ quarters to watch television with the Pakistanis. I had found a corner chair, propped my cast on a crutch, and learned that on the subcontinent cricket matches are a very serious matter.

The major knew I grasped his irony and added, with a wistful, startling sadness: “You know .  .  . we were once the British Indian Army.”

Yes sir, you were. And you were very, very good. That great Indian Army (“British” being colloquial, not official) fought and defeated first-rate, first-world enemies: Germans in North Africa and Italy; the Imperial Japanese in southeast Asia. Stripped of Commonwealth camouflage, the Indian Army of 1945 was, in its own right, a veteran combat outfit with global experience.

Today, when the U.N. seeks crack peacekeeping troops, that old army’s components, now split among India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, top the wish list. In the eastern Congo’s chaos, Indian Air Force helicopters fly support missions for Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. To tacticians this demonstrates the value of British military training methods; to military historians it testifies to the British Indian Army’s tradition of excellence maintained by its fragmented descendants.

The Indian and Pakistanis at Ft. Benning shared more than professional interests—they were friends. If religion and state politics divided them, culture, common sense, and common decency united them. But reuniting India’s fragments? Political fantasy. Blood has spilled, in torrents.

Two remarks made 30 years later by Benazir Bhutto in March 2005 led me to reconsider. Before an interview with four or five writers, someone in conversation mentioned Kashmir. Bhutto said India and Pakistan had too many common interests not to make peace, and that meant resolving Kashmir’s division. “It will happen,” she said. An optimistic nonanswer by a politician? I respected her forceful tone. But how do you resolve it?

Bhutto also mentioned India’s expanding economy and her belief Pakistan would emulate India’s success. I knew forward-thinking sub-continent business leaders favored a robust common market. India liberalized its economy and created wealth; so could Pakistan. English is India’s business language, as it is Pakistan’s. India’s economy could lift Pakistan’s. Their economies might merge—but why pursue the thought, given the spilled blood?

Two years later Bhutto was assassinated, by Pakistani Islamist extremists likely linked to the Taliban and al Qaeda.

    {Wrong. BB was killed per TSPA instructions to avoid giving US more say in TSP.}

I was dining with an Indian businessman. “My family came from Karachi,” he explained, now Pakistan’s largest city. “We are Hindus. When partition occurred there was violence. My parents fled to India. To what is now India. .  .  . I finally came to the United States. And I got a job working for a broker on Wall Street.”

“Did partition have to happen? In retrospect.”

He thought a moment, shook his head. “In my opinion? No.”

Biographer Stanley Wolpert contends Mahatma Gandhi opposed partition. Wolpert wrote that Gandhi never accepted the partition plan and “realized too late that his closest comrades and disciples were more interested in power than principle.” A Hindu extremist assassinated Gandhi. Spilled blood.

But young Pakistanis are now reconsidering partition—because the bloodletting continues. Oh, those thinking the unthinkable are the well-educated, the next generation of Benazir Bhuttos pursuing college degrees in the United States and Canada, or manning ex-im offices in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and London. Bhutto’s murder and the 2008 Mumbai massacre by Islamist terrorists in league with ISI officers spurred harsh moral reflection and intellectual reappraisal.

Pakistan as India’s rival? Only in cricket. India has six times Pakistan’s population and about 10 times its GDP. Year by year Pakistan decays amid corruption, Islamic terrorism, and economic rot. India’s economic surge has made it a global power. Bollywood entertains Asia. India’s Hindus and Christians and Sikhs and, yes, despite Mohammed Ali Jinnah’s contrary claim, Muslims, too, have economic opportunities. Jinnah, leader of the Muslim League and Pakistan’s first post-partition governor general, contended Muslims would never prosper if yoked by a Hindu majority. Jinnah was intellectually and politically gifted, a sophisticate with cosmopolitan taste. Sixty years of history have shown he was dead wrong.

And the new reunifiers know it. Their idea is preposterous, a fantasy, but it has on its side a deeper history than the last six decades. They argue that a reunited India would give Pakistani modernizers strategic depth: economically, demographically, socially, and geographically. The geographic argument has old roots. For millennia the “tribal threat from the mountains” has vexed northern India, from the Indus valley (Pakistan’s heartland) and east beyond Delhi. The reunifiers see the Taliban and other violent factions as tribal raiders attacking the wealthy lowlands, with the goal of seizing urban wealth, imposing tribal rule, then pushing east. Antiquarian? No, insightful. Al Qaeda promotes a 10th-century misogynistic social order; it glorifies beheadings but says little about jobs. A reinvented pre-partition India would have the economic, social, and demographic depth to buffer and absorb the tribes and their turmoil. Pakistan alone does not.

    {So the Paki reunifiers want Indian strength to stave off the Taliban. They need the economic Indo-Gangetic subsidy to keep afloat. They fear the US-UK subsidy getting choked off.}

Two years ago, while discussing the idea of a reunited India with a faculty member at the University of Texas, I pointed out that the reunifiers know they are engaged in a protracted, low-grade civil war, pitting Pakistani modernizers against militant Muslim religious fundamentalists. The modernizers believe a reunited subcontinent would give them instant allies. But consider the obstacles. Indians might balk at absorbing Pakistan’s basket-case economy. (South Koreans fear a generation of paying for North Korea’s poverty post-reunification.)We’ve also had six decades of hateful propaganda spewed by jingoists in Delhi and Islamabad—the heirs of Gandhi’s “comrades” hellbent on personal power. They stoke enmity between Muslims and Hindus for political advantage.

The professor replied that the Pakistani intellectuals he’d met acknowledged re-creation might take a generation—but they raise the possibility and see its value.

Meanwhile, Pakistan risks collapse. Lawrence Solomon, in an article in Canada’s Financial Post, argued that British India requires further “unstitching.” Solomon’s scenario had Pakistan splitting into Pashtun Afghania, Baluchistan, a Sindh state, and an independent Punjab. Solomon asserted that, with the possible exception of current “top dog” Punjab, “the new nations to emerge from a breakup of Pakistan likely would soon become more prosperous as well as more free.”

Likely more prosperous and free? Maybe. A stand-alone Sindh might do well, for a while. In A Quick and Dirty Guide to War (2008), James. F. Dunnigan and I speculated that a Punjab-Sindh state might be more stable than Pakistan. But Pashtun and Baluchi states? I see a squalid future: These suddenly independent confederations slip deeper into misery, plagued by unmitigated clan violence while continuing to provide, with even less intelligence scrutiny, bases for well-financed terrorists. Punjab and Sindh still confront the threat from the hills. Where do they look for help? To India? That’s the argument for restitching, not unstitching.

Abandoning the hills to their despair is a mistake. The tribes deserve peace and development. A dysfunctional Pakistan cannot provide either. A restitched India could, in time.

    {So they want India to bear the burden of revitalising the TSP and they want to grant it as afavor to save their sorry a$$es!}

The Pakistani major at Ft. Benning repeatedly told me the lieutenant-colonel was an unusual man. The day the leg cast came off the lieutenant-colonel and I went to the mess hall. Over dinner he explained the major’s comment: “I come from a hill tribe. We plaster bricks with goat sh— to keep the wind out.”

The lieutenant-colonel assessed my reaction. “You know I attended graduate school in Europe. .  .  . I started life in the 12th century. I’m now in the 20th. That’s what the major means.” Then he flashed a wry smile. “He comes from the cities. I suppose, to him, I am living proof that it can be done.”

Austin Bay is the author, most recently, of Ataturk: Lessons in Leadership from the Greatest General of the Ottoman Empire.

Now makes sense the US scholar waxing about Nizam’s Hyderabad being the last bastion of ganga jamini culture in Hyderabad !!!

  26. ahem Germany Mozilla Firefox Windows says:

Sufism is the non-violent and intellectual and spiritual victory of hindu religions over islam and its inherent fascism and totalitarianism and fossilization.

That is why pure muslims are doing everything possible to villify or humiliate sufism and eliminate it.
