Bilawal Vows to Defend Minorities on Bhatti Anniversary
Karachi: The Chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the party will continue to stand by Pakistan’s religious minorities and support them against bigotry in the tradition of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
In a statement marking the first anniversary of the assassination of PPP leader Shahbaz Bhatti, a member of the Christian community, the PPP Chairperson paid tribute to Shahbaz Bhatti’s dedication to Pakistani democracy and the ideal of a more tolerant and inclusive Pakistan.
“Pakistan was conceived as a homeland for Mulsims where all religious and ethnic groups would live in peace and harmony. It is a tragedy that Quaid-e-Azam’s ideal of a pluralist nation have been distorted under dictatorship to spread an ideology of hate. It is this ideology of hate that took away from us a great public servant like Shahbaz Bhatti from us,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said.
The statement added, “The assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti soon after that of Salmaan Taseer reminded us of the great obstacles we face in rebuilding Pakistan in accordance with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, Qauaid-e-Awam and my Shaheed mother. The forces of darkness will not give up easily but neither will we.”
“The blood of martyrs and those committed to a tolerant, democratic, pluralist Pakistan that respects rather than allows the murder of its minorities will not go in vain,” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari concluded.

Iqbal declared that the muslim man who killed Pandit Lekhram (because Pt. Lekhram criticized islam etc.) was a hero of islam. So Iqbal cannot complain about what has become of Pakistan. He is guilty too.
Mr Bilal Zardari misunderstood his mother’s oath that Democracy is the best revenge against those who conspired to murder her father! She most probably meant that the people of Pakistan deserve to be punished for her fathers death by taking her husband as their President!! On reflection why does the majority now complain about the PP, they promised them democracy and not food or dignity and this is what they have now. Let the Americans and the Saudis provide the food and if not let them sweat and eat grass, something Mr Bhutto senior promised them.

PS The only salvation for the people is to hold a vigil and fast an extra one month and ask the almighty’s forgiveness for the wrongs they committed.

iqbal always praised ram and called him imamehind.lekhram was brainwashed hate spewing brhmn.killing of even cat is not good but he was asking for what happened to him.

Lekhram wrote things which muslims did not like because it exposed islam’s evils. To call it hate means to instigate some muslim to commit murder. The killer of Lekhram was a young lad – one easily misused by older muslims, who were the real killers.
—
To say that a critic deserves to be killed shows/proves the fascist spirit that is inherent in islam and muslims.
—
Killers have always justified their acts by accusing the victims. “He deserved it” is their argument. That you also resort to this argument shows the fascist spirit that islam has instilled in you. It is a long way before you realize how bad it is, and a long way before you get out of it.
If Pandit Lekhram wrote things which muslims did not like then they should have written articles to disprove/refute it. And not instigate some young muslim boy to become a killer. Criticism should be answered with criticism and not murder. If you don’t realize that then you are one more muslim exposing the evil mentality resulting from islam.
—
The question is: Was it ok for Mohammad Iqbal to call the muslim killer (of Pt. Lekhram) a hero of islam? That question you must answer sincerely.
Don’t you realize that Pakistan is the further virulent development of this attitude shown by Iqbal?
Lekhram was only writing against islam – he was not killing any muslim. How does islam teach you to deal with that? Let us know.

There is nothing sacred than freedom of speech

Where has PTH shown “fascism”????
Now I am an editor though I dont moderate…..and have never deleted your comments..
Your comments are most of the time published…except when they are against Islam ( and even then I have never deleted them as I am more of a writer than a moderator). The reason is merely the senstivity and nothing else and it can not be compared to “fascism”…
Please I think you are reasonably intelligent…dont act so weird and dumb….
.Why are you so obsessed with yourself that you think that deleting YOUR comments is fascism!!!!!!!!!!With due respect learn some humility and stop thinking that you are above all of us..
At PTH comments of religous zealots have also been deleted…
But you think that PTH is “fascist”…just because it deleted YOUR comments..
You are just an ordinary guy like all of us….and deleting YOUR comments is NOT fascism….Stop having an over inflated opinion about yourself…You are just an ordinary person like me and all of the others..
Fascism is a very serious allegation and a mature and intelligent person should refrain from levying it….
With respect and regards
Raza
@RHR
Thanks alot Sir for clarifying it for Mr Amjad. Most of his comments that have been deleted were, either
“Sharia For Pakistan”(which was deleted because it was OFF-topic in 100% of cases) or “this is gutter/latrine Mirzai Propaganda by PTH”..
If anyone thinks we are deleting their comments unfairly, we have a complete policy about moderation.and soon, we are going to ban serial offenders.
Peace
Yeh YLH aur RHR ki sikha shai kab tak chalay ghi, shame on this fascism
Amjad,
It is actually Mughalai.
Unfortunately our founding fathers r no saint in this matter, they created ilm din which the produced a society where u find a Qadri at every corner! U can’t defeat your enemy unless u identify it !

Islam is incapable of producing good leaders. Examine the quality of leaders produced by islam after getting rid of the propaganda-hype around them by their zombified followers. As soon as a muslim (as any a normal human being) starts (developing towards) becoming a good leader he comes into conflict with islam, kuran, shariah, Mohammad-adoration etc. , and idiotized muslims (who are the huge majority) pull him down and destroy him.
Much has been said eulogizing Jinnah – but he too falls short by a wide margin due to his own cunning, double-speech, lawyer-like obfuscation of truth and untruth.
